Forest Lake MN Homes for Sale

Located just over 30 miles from downtown Minneapolis, Forest Lake, MN originally started as a stop along the Duluth and St. Paul railroad, but given it happens to be situated right alongside the actual Forest Lake, it quickly grew into being one of the most popular summer resort towns in the entire upper midwest by the mid-1800s. Of course since then, Forest Lake has only grown in popularity not just as a summertime sanctuary, but also for anybody looking for a quiet place to call home all year long as well. Recent statistics show Forest Lake has a population of right around 20,000 people, but that number will most certainly continue to grow given the area’s strong development potential and close proximity to the Twin Cities.
