St. Marys Point MN Homes for Sale

St. Mary’s Point, MN is a charming riverfront community that’s among the smallest in Washington County. Home to just 400 people, this tiny town lies just across the mouth of Bolles Creek from nearby Afton, another quaint small town along the St. Croix. The quiet residential atmosphere is calming to say the least, which is just one of many factors potential home buyers like about the area when considering a move here. St. Mary’s Point dates all the way back to 1844 when the first record of a land transaction was documented, making it one of the area’s earliest established communities. The town’s unique history also involves a sawmill being built back in 1857, but because of a fire the following year, St. Mary’s Point never saw the prosperous benefits of the lumber industry back then.
